INTO THE VINES

Fine Art by Linda Fields

One pen. A million creative results! Excited to experiment, I decided to limit myself to one Altenew Alcohol Ink Pen in Evergreen. I began inking, using the brush nib to stroke color across the page, branching out across the white plastic panel. Between the rubbing alcohol and pen strokes, what started quietly in the corner turned wild! Organic vines stretched their tendrils desperately to fill the empty space. What now? Will they reach beyond the edges to fill my entire studio?! How can I possibly stop this? Or is this my new obsession? Well, whatever may become of me, I hope you enjoy the view as I disappear into the vines!
